Do we need to buy fingerprint hardware?
No. The system runs directly on employees' phones and uses the built-in fingerprint/face sensor, so there is no need for any hardware, installation or maintenance.
Does it require an app store?
No. i-basmaa is a web app (PWA) added to the phone home screen in one tap, and works as a full app without waiting for App Store or Google Play review.
How do you prevent check-in from elsewhere?
A geofence is defined for each site, and check-in is only accepted within that range, in addition to fingerprint verification to confirm the employee's identity.
Does it support multiple branches?
Yes, you can define multiple sites and ranges and link each employee to their location — starting from the Medium plan and up.
Is our data secure?
Yes. The employee's fingerprint is never stored on our servers; verification uses the secure WebAuthn technology on the device, and only the attendance record is saved. Large organizations can also choose private hosting.
How long does setup take?
